Manage Staff - How To Set Up Your In-House Users and The Roles They Play
Creating,
setting up and customizing what your in-house users are able to do and see is
done in Settings, under Manage Staff.
This settings feature allows the super administrator (Sadmin) to setup
user (admins and collectors) screens with only the links and tabs that he/she
wants them to have as well as a few other abilities.
Super Admin: can do everything in the system and the only user that can
access Manage Staff.
Admin: can do almost everything a super admin can with the exception of
accessing Manage Staff.
Collectors: can only do what the super admin gives them access to.
The above
screenshot shows you how to set up an admin user. The Username will appear in dropdown menus
throughout the system. The email address
can be used when updating clients (this field is optional) as the “from”
email. Phone is optional. The yes/no are limits for each user; do you
want this user to be able to do this action?
Claim Status/Payment Access: update the client and post payments
Reminder Edit/Delete Access: edit reminders and delete reminders
e-mail Drop Down List: updating the client via email, do you want this
email to be the FROM address? If not,
the default email is the administration email located under Edit Company Info
in Settings
Confirm Invoice Payment: confirm when an invoice is paid by the client
Commission: enter a rate if you give your collectors a commission (there
is a Collector Commission report) These user settings can be changed at any
time by the sadmin.
Access Level: these are the red links under the red dashboard. They can be moved from being displayed all the time or they can be moved into the Features dropdown menu. Out of the way but easy to access when needed.
Claim Tab Access: each claim has a set of blue tabs to work the claim.
Dashboard: the dashboard is the red banner across the top of the screen and is always visible no matter where you are in the system.
Customizing the screens for your users is done when you set them up however, you can always come back and move things around.
