Understanding “Level of Access” for Attachments and Notes
What is "Level of Access"? "Level of Access" refers to the administrator's ability to control which users can view specific documents or notes that are attached or entered into the claim within our system. Four Levels of Access for Attachments: 1. All: Visible to anyone with access to the system and working on claims. 2. Self: Displayed only for the user who attached the document. 3. Fwd Attorney: Accessible to all admins and attorneys. 4. Internal File: Viewable by all in-house users. Setting Access for Attachments: Admins or collectors can choose "All," "Internal File," or "Fwd Attorney" when attaching a document, based on who needs to see it. When an attorney attaches a document, it is automatically marked as "Fwd Attorney" on the admin side. If a creditor or forwarder attaches a document, it is automatically marked as "All" on the ...
